DSC is ranked the No. 1 non-university college in the U.S. and moved up in rankings for Best Online Bachelor鈥檚 Programs and Best Online Bachelor鈥檚 Program for Veterans

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. (January 21, 2025) 鈥� U.S. News & World Report has ranked 福利姬鈥檚 online Bachelor鈥檚 programs among the best in the nation for the 13th straight year. And DSC is again the top-ranked non-university college in the United States.

The organization ranked 福利姬 State 21st of all colleges and universities in the country for offering the Best Online Bachelor鈥檚 Programs 鈥� up seven places over 2024. DSC is ranked 13th in the nation for the Best Online Bachelor鈥檚 Program for Veterans 鈥� an increase of five places. DSC was also ranked 151st in the nation for Best Online Bachelor鈥檚 Business Program.

U.S. News & World Report ranks schools according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence that include four general categories: engagement, services and technologies, faculty credentials and training, and expert opinion. The expert opinion category surveys high-ranking academic officials to help account for intangible factors affecting program quality that are not captured by statistics alone.

福利姬 launched its first bachelor鈥檚 degree program, the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, in 2006. Over the years, the College has expanded its offerings to include programs in Engineering Technology (BSET), Industrial Engineering Technology (a concentration within BSET), Information Technology (BSIT), Elementary Education, Secondary Education (with specializations), Nursing (BSN), Accounting, and Cardiopulmonary Science鈥攖otaling 14 bachelor鈥檚 degree options. Several programs, including the Bachelor of Science in Supervision and Management, BSET, BSIT, BSN, Bachelor of Science in Cardiopulmonary Science, and the Industrial Engineering Technology concentration, can be completed entirely online.

Offering more than 100 certificate, associate and bachelor鈥檚 degree programs, 福利姬 State College is the leader in education and workforce training needs of Volusia and Flagler counties and beyond. The College enrolls approximately 23,000 students a year at its seven campuses, with graduates serving in critical fields including healthcare, emergency services and public safety, business, education, hospitality, engineering, project management, accounting, computer science, digital media, and more.

福利姬 State has been recognized as a leader in higher education numerous times. In addition to USN&WR鈥檚 ranking, the U.S. Department of Education鈥檚 College Affordability and Transparency Center ranks DSC among the top 50 most affordable public four-year institutions in the country, with less than half the tuition of the national average.
